My work as a drummer is driven by a continual search for new creative possibilities.

I was raised in a musical environment and began playing the drums at an early age. I briefly studied at the Conservatory of Utrecht before choosing to pursue my own path, developing my craft independently and dedicating myself fully to the instrument. That journey has shaped me into the musician I am today.

My playing is defined by a strong focus on touch, sound, and the natural acoustic flow of the music.  I believe genres and traditions do matter, yet they never should be restrictive. My aim is to be fully present, listen deeply, and serve the music in the most meaningful way possible. 

Over the years, I have recorded music for film and worked extensively as a session drummer. My current projects include the New Amsterdam Trio and Roser/Moser/Asselbergs. In addition, I record drums for clients from my home studio.
